Veterans Connection: MCVSC Newsletter |
Please continue to forward the newsletter and ask fellow veterans to subscribe. With over 36,000 veterans in the county, we’ve still got a long way to get them all subscribed, so please help by referring local veterans to https://mcvsc.org/subscribe.
We're now up to 417 subscribers, an increase of 63 from the last newsletter. But we can still do better. Spread the word! |

Historic VA Enrollment in Past Year |
According to the VA, there has been a historic enrollment for VA benefits over the past year. In the past 365 days, over 400,000 veterans have signed up for VA benefits. The PACT Act, signed into law in 2022, provided the VA with extra resources for outreach that has led to the explosion of signups.
If you're receiving this newsletter, odds are that you already receive VA benefits. If not, contact us! There are many veterans who are unaware of the benefits they qualify for or do not know how to sign up for those benefits. That's why we have the Montgomery County Veterans Service Commission. We help veterans obtain benefits and navigate through the necessary paperwork.
If you know any veterans currently unenrolled for VA health care, please direct them to the MCVSC. Despite the historic enrollment, there is still a long way to go to enroll every eligible veteran.
You can learn more about MCVSC VA benefit assistance on our website. |
