Please continue to forward the newsletter and ask fellow veterans to subscribe. With over 36,000 veterans in the county, we’ve still got a long way to get them all subscribed, so please help by referring local veterans to https://mcvsc.org/subscribe.
We're now up to 354 subscribers, an increase of 41 from the last newsletter. But we can still do better. Spread the word!
Funding to Combat Homelessness
Veterans experiencing homelessness or at risk of homelessness may qualify for rental subsidies from the HOME-ARP Act. Montgomery County has been allocated nearly $8 million and the funding must be spent before the end of 2026.
The funding can also go toward the development of multi-family rental housing or support services related to preventing homelessness.
