Blue Star Mothers are mothers of active duty and honorably and medically discharged veterans serving in the military, guard, or reserve. In over 19 years of service, they have mailed over 21,000 care packages to troops deployed in Iraq, Afghanistan, Korea, Germany, and other countries around the globe. They are currently one of the busiest chapters in the country and one of the few with a physical troop support center.
