Veterans' Connection: MCVSC Newsletter

This is the first of what we hope to be a bimonthly email to tell you about veteran related news in Montgomery County. The newsletter will cover changes in benefits, events, discounts, meetings, groups, services, jobs, and veteran owned business news.

Free dental services for those in need

Learn more

Montgomery County is one of the few counties in Ohio offering this service. As you may know, only veterans with 100% disability are currently eligible for dental care at the VA unless the condition is service connected.

We know that regular cleaning is critical to health of veterans, and if money is tight, oral care isn’t high on the list of priorities. We can help! If you need more extensive care, we assist on a case-by-case basis.

We're looking for veteran groups

Amvets, American Legion, DAV, Military Order of Purple Heart, Vietnam Veterans of American, and the Veterans of Foreign Wars are great organizations that support veterans. We’re looking for other great pro-veteran organizations to add to our site. Check out the MCVSC website to see if your veteran group is listed. If not, reach out by replying to this email!

Blue Star Mothers of The Miami Valley
An outstanding organization of families that have sons or daughters serving. They are known for sending care packages to active duty troops, but do so much more.

Veterans Breakfast, VFW Post 9550, the last Saturday of every month at Archer's Tavern in Kettering. Cost is $8.50. All veterans welcome.
