Design for Veterans Memorial Expansion
The City of Centerville has released the bronze medallion design for their Stubbs Park Veterans Memorial Plaza expansion. The expansion will pay tribute to the Space Force, the only branch of service currently not represented at the park.
Artist Olivia Faillace designed the winning entry which features three Guardians working together to facilitate a rocket launch into outer space, symbolizing the teamwork and technological prowess that define this newest branch of the military. A computer and satellite are prominently depicted in the scene and reflect the critical role of technology in Space Force operations.
Centerville is still seeking donations to help fund the project. |
